Baga Beach
Baga beach is one of the smaller but prominent and most happening beaches of Goa.
Baga beach is named after Baga Creek, which empties into the Arabian sea at the North end of the Beach.
Home to legendary Club Tito and Café Mambo, Baga beach is popular for thrilling nightlife and lively parties… and this is not it! This beautiful small beach with brown sand has something or the other for one and all!
Baga beach offers dolphin-spotting cruises, which are as delightful for grown-ups as for kids, along with a number of sports activities for the adventurous like wind-surfing, water-skiing etc. Else, one can simply laze or read on the beaches in the daytime and witness an amazing sunset in the evening followed by a bite of local cuisine in one of the restaurants which offer you amazing food, cheaper liquor and a hookah.
For those, who want to take a peek into Goa’s long past and explore its historical structures, Portuguese forts at Aguada and Chapora are closeby. And for the shopaholics, apart from the local market, Flea market at Anjuna beach is a great place to be!
